Exodus Cry Lies

The Consequences of their Lies

Recently, major credit card companies have pulled their business partnership from PornHub based on Exodus Cry’s project, TraffickingHub, lying about excessive amount of child rape and trafficking on their site.
Doing so caused many sex workers who are part of PornHub’s ModelHub to not receive their income to pay rent, buy food, etc.
Exodus Cry’s goal is to eliminate all nudity, pornography, and sex work in grouping them as trafficking, rape, and abuse. Their goal will de-platform sex workers off social media/internet and force them to go to the streets for survival which are even more dangerous.

Persuading Congress to Make Laws

The signing of SESTA/FOSTA by Donald Trump shut down Backpage and Craigslist Personals where sex workers posted ads of their services and gained clients. Exodus Cry was a huge influence in passing the bill who lied about the enormous amounts of children and women being trafficked. The result forced sex workers to go to the street or become more hidden on the internet, which also keeps traffickers hidden more easily.
They are working hard to pass the Earn It Act which will ban nude and pornographic content on the internet, taking jobs from millions of sex workers. Not only are sex workers or nude models and porn in danger, but sex educators who post content that share photographs of vaginas, penises, and breasts to teach people who might have questions or are simply curious. It will also prevent content of pregnancy, childbirth, tampon use, and birth control such as IUDs, hysterectomies, etc.
Exodus Cry is a danger to the First Amendment and will prevent people from accessing sex education that isn’t taught in school as well as prevent sex workers from working.

IHOPKC & Mike Bickle

International House of Prayer Kansas City (IHOPKC) is a church in Kansas City, Missouri founded by Mike Bickle. They have a 24/7 prayer room, a university, and they also do missions.
One of their long term members founded the anti-trafficking non profit, Exodus Cry, and that man was Benjamin Nolot.
The other member that joined Nolot was Laila Mickelwait, who founded TraffickingHub.
IHOPKC has been in the public eye due to scandals and questionable events such as their missionary work in Africa that led to an Anti-LGBTQ law and a murder of a woman to cover up a sexual assault.

Benjamin Nolot

Born in Huntington Beach, California, Benjamin R Nolot grew up with his parents and 3 siblings. In 2007, he founded Exodus Cry which became a huge success.
Ben Nolot has shown (according to his religious beliefs and tweets on Twitter) in the past to be homophobic, transphobic, against women’s choice to choose what’s best for their bodies, and views all sex work as trafficking and that sexually liberated women are sinful.
He also produced/directed “Nefarious”, a film that shows sex trafficking in foreign countries and “Liberated”, shown on Netflix, a film that shows the stories of sexual assault and harassment during Spring Break. According to some of the people he interviewed, Ben did not let them know that he was making a film with a religious agenda and message against women being sexually liberated which basically conveys victim blaming.

Laila Mickelwait

Laila Wisam Haddad was born in California to a father, Dr. Wisam Haddad, and her mother along with her sisters. She came from a religious background and has been very active in volunteer work. She married Joel Mickelwait, a dentist, and founded New Reality International, a non profit to help those facing poverty and crisis.
From California, she moved to Kansas City, Missouri where she became an intercession missionary at IHOPKC and joined Ben Nolot a year later at Exodus Cry, becoming the spokesperson and manager. In 2020, she launched TraffickingHub, a project to shut down PornHub and now has moved towards the elimination of all porn sites. She tweets daily about finding extreme amount of child pornography and rape which are literally porn actresses who are averagely around 21 years old who happen to look younger.
Now a year later after TraffickingHub made headlines, she started her new non profit, Justice Defense Fund, to put the law on her side to end the sex/porn industry which will force thousands of sex workers to the streets underground where abuse and corruption runs rampant. But in her eyes, as long as people don’t have to see it, then no harm done. Outta sight, outta mind.
